8-10 December, the Men Y21 World Championship will be held in Vetlanda. Sweden, Finland and Russia make up for the title.

The Swedish team made an ice pass in the Sapa Arena on Thursday afternoon.

– It feels great. We had a good ice pass, high pace and good quality, says Sweden's Joel Engström to svenskbandy.se.

The group stage becomes intense when the three teams play a double series performed on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday the World Championship final is played between the two best teams from the group stage.

– It's important that we are hooked in front of each match. We have a very strong squad and we are looking forward to a fun tournament. All players have good quality and there is a lot of talent and knowledge in the group.

In Friday's opening match, Finland and Russia will meet 09.00. Then Sweden-Finland is pl at 2 pm and Russia-Sweden at 7 pm.

The Finnish squad came to Vetlanda on Wednesday and has finished two ice-passes.

– The feeling is positive. We have strong shooters from both right and left and a strong collective defensive. We must be able to develop the offensive play during the tournament, says the Finnish head coach Ari Holopainen.

The Russian squad arrived at Vetlanda late on Thursday afternoon and is training in Sapa Arena during the evening.
